The Compostable Materials Certification Scheme (CMCS) announces the first certified home compostable product. The product is manufactured by Sinclair International Limited (Sinclair), now the second participant of CMCS.Certification of Sinclair’s fruit labels in line with the NF T51-800 standard shows they are suitable for home composting.This product meets CMCS’ home compostable requirements, having been tested by an approved laboratory and assessed by one of the CMCS certification bodies...

D&F Associates Ltd will be departing from the CCS Laboratory Approval Scheme and from 14th of March will no longer be a CCS Approved Laboratory. While D&F now won’t accept new sample analysis requests for certification purposes, they will continue to fulfil all ongoing testing services; such as reporting ongoing sample test results.
